Welcome. Corter Leather is a super-small, one man operation. Every product is 100% hand made by maker Eric Heins in a small apartment studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Each piece is designed in house, cut by memory, hand punched, and hand sewn. Templates are never made, so no two pieces perfectly alike.

Custom Orders Due to overwhelming demand of stock items, Corter Leather is not able to take custom orders as of 5.20.2011.

First sample of the musette bag- the next bag I'll be releasing and the first bag I ever designed out a couple years ago. Did the first one in waxed navy, they feature single needle construction, triple stitched inside seams, and handset rivets with hand cut leather washers on the inside. Needs a bit of testing and some size tweaking, but it's close to being done.

Miss Corter's dad captained a wonderful sail for us this afternoon. A nice break to an otherwise super busy weekend working.

Quick trip to Cape Cod the past few days, a bit anxious to leave work but also needed to let my hands heal from a few straight weeks with little break. The salt water did it's thing and it's work as usual. Look for updates for an August online shop closing soon- seems to be a monthly happening this summer, but I've got lots of projects due August/September/October, so there will be plenty of Corter stuff out through some interesting new channels soon.
