Welcome. Corter Leather is a super-small, one man operation. Every product is 100% hand made by maker Eric Heins in a small apartment studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Each piece is designed in house, cut by memory, hand punched, and hand sewn. Templates are never made, so no two pieces perfectly alike.

A find from the Brimfield antique fair. These things are great and last forever- also, super inexpensive at tag sales etc. This one came from an old gent's workshop that the seller had cleaned out. I've been looking for one that wasn't super beat up as most are after years in garages, and though this was right at my $20 limit I couldn't pass it up. Note the bolt still attached to the front- on all three of the sets she had for sale, he had wired one of the pieces of hardware that each drawer contained to the front.

I gave it a nice cleaning, then a polish and a bit of wd40 for the drawers to slide smooth. Then I lined the insides with scrap leather to protect the hardware that will fill it from metal-on-metal contact.

More work from yesterday and today, working super hard even with the online shop closed till Monday. Braided bracelets are done and being worn, got to make some snap wallets too which is always nostalgic. Really excited for these bracelets and the tie-dyed wallets, probably my favorite stuff of the year so far. Only a little while untill they're out!
