Belt Redesign Update

I've been working on finding new hardware and redesigning the belt selection this week, it should only be a couple more weeks before they're done and out. There's an old saying that goes "the shoemaker's children never have shoes", and that's pretty accurate when it comes to my own personal leather collection- I rarely make myself anything. I've been needing a new belt for a while now, so I took some time the past couple days to make one. It's a 13oz belt strapping with a 3oz. liner. I added some copper rivets and a leather keeper, and I'm very excited to wear it. I'm not sure that I'll be offering a stitched option for the new belts, as they take a long time and would be a bit more expensive than most of the belts I offer, but I'm considering all options. 

Laptop Sleeves

Got a couple orders for laptop sleeves, which made for a busy weekend. I'll be adding 100 day project updates throughout the week, probably 4/day now that my computer seems to be working again. Now it's on to getting some new accounts with suppliers, and getting the belts redesigned.

Welcome to the new home of Corter Leather! Today, after 18 months of design and work, I'm proud to present the new website and the first collection by Corter Leather. You can see the collection in the "Collections" tab, and lots of stock of everything is available in the store. 

The Brewster Collection Release Date

This Friday, June 18th, The Brewster Collection will be released along with a nice and proper website!

I'll also have more of the 100 day project updates tomorrow afternoon, my computer's still dead so I'll have some working time on a functioning computer tomorrow!

Days 61-74

The last couple weeks have been kind of rough posting - my computer's been in a weird sort of purgatory where it will only turn on for a couple hours every few days. I've been able to keep up with orders no problem by leaching internet off my iPhone (which I deactivated a month ago), but being able to edit photos and post work has been spotty at best.
