Welcome. Corter Leather is a super-small, one man operation. Every product is 100% hand made by maker Eric Heins in a small apartment studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Each piece is designed in house, cut by memory, hand punched, and hand sewn. Templates are never made, so no two pieces perfectly alike.

Custom Orders Due to overwhelming demand of stock items, Corter Leather is not able to take custom orders as of 5.20.2011.

Spring Cleaning Sale!

I've run out of room to keep product in my bedroom/workshop, so I'm doing a bit of late spring cleaning to make room for the Brewster Collection release (coming very very soon, I promise!). There are a whole bunch of new wallets in the store ready to send out, some as low as $80, and you can use the code "thebarterproject" to get 15% off for today and tomorrow.

Technical Difficulties

My computer's been dead for a couple days now, and I"m very sorry for missing the past couple days. I'll be sorting out the problem over the next couple days, and I'm absolutely going to continue making one thing every day. The 100 day project will be updated with all the days asap, thanks for all of the emails of concern, tweets, and kind thoughts!

Day 58

Day 58 is a premium lined belt loop that uses some newly found leather that was tanned and oiled in house. The leather was set out for 30 days to tan in all elements, and I just found a couple scraps while cleaning out supplies. The inside lining is new natural leather, so you'll be able to watch the outside age, and the coin is a handmade peso concho. Paired with a bracelet, this is a nice little grouping available for $42.
