Welcome. Corter Leather is a super-small, one man operation. Every product is 100% hand made by maker Eric Heins in a small apartment studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Each piece is designed in house, cut by memory, hand punched, and hand sewn. Templates are never made, so no two pieces perfectly alike.

Custom Orders Due to overwhelming demand of stock items, Corter Leather is not able to take custom orders as of 5.20.2011.

For available stock, please visit the shop.

Lots of Updates, and New Projects

The Brewster Collection is almost ready to go! I've traveled to my mom's house for a couple weeks with a box full of tools, hardware, and leather to finish it up. She lives very close to the beach, which is absolutely amazing this time of year. I've also been working on some large and awesome custom orders (one seen above, two trifold wallets that fit moleskin notebooks, and have all sorts of card slots and receipt slots). The 100 day project is going amazing, I can't thank everyone enough for the response it's received.

I've also got a new project I'm working on, which you can follow at www.TheBarterProject.Tumblr.com . Basically, in a year and a few months, I'll be setting off to travel across the country and trade my goods with other artisans. I also want to meet Corter Leather customers, and get some updates on their goods. I'll be working on the road as well, I don't think this will really affect custom orders at all. I'll be building out an RV with a workshop, and Corter Leather will no longer just be "Made in New England".

Keep looking for 100 day project stuff, and I hope this entry finds everyone well!
