Corter Leather - Journal

Welcome. Corter Leather is a super-small, one man operation. Every product is 100% hand made by maker Eric Heins in a small apartment studio in Boston, Massachusetts. Each piece is designed in house, cut by memory, hand punched, and hand sewn. Templates are never made, so no two pieces perfectly alike.

Custom Orders Due to overwhelming demand of stock items, Corter Leather is not able to take custom orders as of 5.20.2011.

This is the first prototype of the brass keyhook. Designed here, and made out in Montana by a gent who knows way more about metal than I do. It's very far from finished- don't expect these soon. However, the shape is there and that's the important part, now on to figuring out some strong material to produce it with

Sliced my hand open mid February and was out of work for two and a half weeks- just got back last week and doing my best to get caught up but orders are running a couple weeks behind- should be caught up by Friday. While I couldn't do leather stuff I worked on a restoration project- nothing crazy but something to keep my hands....well, hand....busy.
